PATH Torbay has regular appeals that happen at certain times of the year. These appeals are ran along side the daily and weekly appeals.  In October we adopted the international appeal called Socktober which starts the first of our winter appeals. Homeless people are in regular need of clean dry socks, so in 2018 we came up with this appeal which has been a great help to those in need of clean and dry socks.

Then as we head into the winter months we will be starting our Christmas Appeals, this year we are going to be launching our Christmas Shoe Box Appeal, and our Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal.

The Shoe Box Appeal is aimed at vulnerable single people who have become homeless or are in financial difficulty. Each shoe box is for a single person containing little gifts for a man or a lady who fit into this criteria.

The Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal is designed more for families who have fallen onto hard times. This year like last year will see quite a few families be on tight budgets due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Anyone wishing to take part in these appeals are welcome to discuss them with the volunteers.  You only need to supply what you can afford to do.
